Master Graduation Project
"Emperor penguins could disappear by 2100, if climate change continues at its current rate."
"what can we do for them?"
The VR application depicts the life of the emperor penguin. In the virtual world, the player experiences the events that emperor penguins experience in the real world. The aim is to awaken people's empathy for penguins.
Scene1 - Penguin in the sea
The first scene is in the sea. The player can swim with the penguins in the sea by swinging his two "wings" namely the two controllers. In addition, the player can catch fish.
Scene2 - The long journey
The second scene tells the story of the long journey of emperor penguins to their colony. The player can interact with the penguin group. When snowstorm approaches, the penguins spontaneously huddle to warm each other. But a penguin gets lost. The player must guide the lost penguin to find its group so that it can survive the storm.
Scene3 - Fight for babies
In the third scene, the player will come to the colony of emperor penguins. As a keeper of a baby penguin kindergarten, the player should take care of a group of baby penguins. When the petrels come, the player must use their wings to beat and drive off the enemies to protect the babies.
